Starting Off as a Salesperson in Luxury Hospitality

My journey began in the world of luxury hospitality, selling for iconic brands like Mandarin Oriental and Shangri-La Kuala Lumpur.

There, I learned structured sales systems from some of the best organisations, and more importantly, from sharp, high-performing salespeople on the ground.

Sales Trainer – My Turning Point

I transitioned into sales training because I saw something broken in the system: Too many capable people lacked confidence in selling — and it was holding them back.

My dream was (and still is) to help people sell proudly, not apologetically. Because sales is not a shame — it's a skill every professional needs.

Head of Learning & Development – J&T Express Malaysia

After just one year as a trainer, I was promoted to Head of L&D at one of Malaysia’s fastest-growing logistics companies.

There, I led national training initiatives and built scalable learning systems to align people, process, and performance across the entire organisation.

Insighter Learning – My First Venture

In 2023, I launched Insighter Learning, my first training company. We started broad — offering everything from communication to project management. It was a fast learning curve.

But over time, we realised: being generalists made us blend in. What clients really wanted was a partner who understood sales deeply.

Today, we are ClimbX — a training company built on deep sales expertise, not shallow offerings.
